The Itinerary

The planning started about 5 months in advance.  We watched the fares, researched the dry season, started banking our vacation time (sort of...), and committed.  *Shouts out Scott's Cheap Flights for the heads up and motivation*

And that's when the fun kicked in. If you don't know me, I'm a planner.  I like to think I'm flexible with things (as long as we hit all the highlights on my list) heh.  I blame my obsessive nature of research and planning on my dad.  He made me present my 3 part argument on getting a dog to the fam when I was 9 or so and I'm pretty sure he's a certified eagle scout.  But honestly I seem to remember an early passion in making powerpoint presentations as soon as I 'graduated' from Kid Pix so maybe it's genetic.

Anyways! We were at that phase of the trip.  A clean slate, 11 days to do what ever we wanted.  11 gloooorious days. If you can't tell, I needed a vacation, STAT.  After running through lists of pinterest suggestions and friend reccos our itinerary was finalized:

Day 1 + 2 : Flight to Ghuangzhou

* insert 15 hour layover here*

Arrive in Denpasar

Day 3 + 4 + 5: Uluwatu with a day trip to Nusa Penida in the mix

Day 6 + 7 + 8: Ubud

Day 9 + 10: Canguu

Day 11: Leave Bali
