First Stop: Uluwatu
I wanted a trip that took us to the best beaches and surf towns so naturally Uluwatu made the list. Our first day we spent wandering the back streets around our airbnb. This villa was probably the furthest from the main streets and on day 1 I quickly learned that 'just around the corner' roughly translated to another 15 minute walk where you're guaranteed to sweat through whatever clothes you're wearing. Ulutwatu certainly got our trip off to a hot start. It definitely didn't help that every beach we went to required a minor hike up several sets of steep stairs before you got there. But I'd definitely say it was well worth it.
